We’re excited to announce that Vet Tech Nursing Academy has officially received approval from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE)!

Thank you to everyone who has shown interest in our Veterinary Technician Alternate Route Program and for your patience and continued support throughout the approval process. We are thrilled to move forward and welcome our next group of students!

Our next class is scheduled to begin December 14, 2026, and we are preparing to open applications soon.

Important Enrollment Dates

• October 23, 2026: Applications officially open.

• November 4, 2026: Application deadline. All applications must be submitted by this date.

• November 9, 2026: Applicant interviews begin for eligible candidates.

• November 25, 2026: Applicants will be notified of their admission decisions.

• December 7, 2026: Mandatory student orientation. Specific times will be provided to accepted applicants.

• December 14, 2026: First day of the new cohort!

If you are a veterinary professional looking to advance your education and pursue your Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential through California’s Alternate Route pathway, we encourage you to prepare for the upcoming application period.

Please note that applicants must meet the program’s eligibility requirements to be considered for admission. Interviews will be scheduled for eligible applicants, and admission is not guaranteed.
